About me

Who I am

My name is Hunter and I’m aspiring to pursue a career as an attorney. I am currently an undergraduate student with the ambition to enroll into a juris doctorate program. Fundamentally, I’ve always been fascinated by the legal systems we have in place because of what they are, why they are that way, and how they got there.

One of the biggest reasons I want to practice law is for the the purpose of helping people through steadfast representation. Notwithstanding that I would like to gain experience in a variety of disciplines and believe I could excel in most all of them, my main goal is to be able to offer services and information that make a positive impact on people’s lives.

Despite working full time and being a full-time student, I intend on investing time every week to researching and posting here. As a matter of principle, all information is free to read, as my goal is simply to increase knowledge of policy and procedure that will have a major impact on people’s lives.

The current plan for the blog is to focus mainly on real estate, estate, and tax laws for the country as a whole and in Massachusetts because I think it is knowledge that everyone would do well to have.

Real Estate Law

Housing is something very fundamental to human life as is clearly demonstrated through shelter being listed low on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Since this is going to be majorly impactful over the course of life, I find the laws surrounding it to be quite important.

Estate Law

Preparing a solid estate plan is essential to avoid the costly and typically aggravating process of probate. Everyone would benefit from figuring out their estate so that everything will work out how they want, particularly if you have a lot of assets.

Tax Law

By law, everyone is required to pay a set amount of taxes. There are a countless number of different taxes and tax codes for which we are responsible for following. Furthermore, being able to navigate them all well and legally minimizing the amount due is helpful.
